In 1997 Team Alpha’s founder and principal director was recruited from the diving industry into the offshore petroleum, gas and maritime training industries in response to the Cullen Report being published into the Piper Alpha Disaster in 1988.

With experience of delivering the OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction and  Emergency Training (BOSIET) course, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET/Dunker), Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) Sea Survival Instructor, general Sea Survival; Rescue & Casualty Management, Lifeboat and Fast Rescue Coxswain training , commercial diver and diving operations supervisor as well as specialist training for expeditions, military, aviation, Team Alpha can design and delivery bespoke/individual training, tailored to meet your exact needs.

Team Alpha can provide specialist marine rescue and survival training, support and logistics for expeditions, events and commercial projects (e.g. Construction, demolition, engineering, survey, salvage, diving operations, etc).
